Web-Grognards is now on Yahoo. There is no description there yet for Web-Grognards: hopefully one will be added.
I have added an RSACi rating for Web-Grognards. The idea behind voluntary rating systems like RSACi is to indicate web content that is appropriate for children and young people.
I have also registered all external links on the Web-Grogards home page with URL-minder, a free service which alerts you to changes in chosen URLs. It will warn me by email if a link to any of the 'Recommended Sites' either leads nowhere or has new information. I intend to extend this protection to all external links on Web-Grognards over time.
Finally a number of people have pointed out that the links to USENET newsgroups no longer worked. This was because the links pointed to a USENET service being withdrawn: I have now changed the links to point at a new USENET service.
The Grognards Challenge: Doug Dery was the first to guess The Marne (SPI). I thought that this game would be most appropriate for the past week with Armistice Day last Monday. A new Challenge awaits!
