The GG rules say that you assign them after rolling, so > any sixes can be applied to cavalry and fives to infantry. > > Does anyone have a complete list of differences? I don't have the Gibson version, but I have heard of three other differences. 3) When population limits cause a unit to be removed, in the AH version the limit is not checked again afterward (in other words, if the Jutes have four units in Kent and one in Essex they can remove only the one in Essex). In the Gibson version you must have enough areas after the removals, so two more Jutes would die. (This point is illustrated by specific examples in BOTH rulebooks, or so I'm told.) 4) In the AH version, the double turn that a Major Invasion gives you applies to all your units. In the Gibson version, units already on land don't get the extra turn. 5) In the AH version, units (either raider or settler) can stay at sea as long as desired, and if they are raiders they can keep raiding forever. In the Gibson version, units can't raid after the designated raiding turn(s) for their country, and I'm not sure if they can stay at sea. John David Galt
