From: kzucker@charm.net (Kevin Zucker) Subject: 1806 Q&A (replaces any previous notice) 1806 ROSSBACH AVENGED: QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Counters * Bila-his strength numbers on the "R" counter are correct for full strength and vice-versa. * Bogulsawski-subtract "one" from both his strength and initiative values on his reduced strength counter. * Jerome-his reduced strength counter should have a strength of 5. * Rudorff-Light troops (not cavalry) * Grouchy-2(5)7 reduced values. Game Turn Record Track * "Tilly" refers to the I Corps cavalry brigade. * Pelet arrives on the evening of 8th October, in hex N1801; 24 hours sooner if using the Alternate Turn Track. Set-up Charts * Dupont's set-up for the 9th should read S2701. * Ney's set up on the 12th should read S2623. * In a couple of instances, Bernadotte's set-up hex may be shifted one hex to place him on the road. * Where the word "reduced" appears, it denotes that all the units depicted below set-up at reduced strength. * The setup sheet shows four vedettes for Blücher, while the asterisks on the units and the counter mix show only three. The counters are correct. The Game Map Where tracks cross rivers are there bridges? A) Absolutely. Rules 11.31 Rules state Town/Village increase defender by 50%. The Terrain Effects Chart only states this for Towns. Which takes precedence?? A) The Chart is correct. 19.21 How is it handled when the setup at the beginning of a scenario has a hex overstacked (ex.- Scenario 4 hex N 1330 has 2 inf & 1 cav with no leader in initial setup)? A) Displacement at the owning players choice. 20.1 Victory Points In the Introductory Scenario and Scenario Two, subtract 2 points from the award specified in 20.14. 20.11 Ratio of Combat Losses-"lost during play" means a running total and if a unit is lost, rebuilt, and lost again you get its full and reduced strength right? Or should it be units lost at the end of the game? A) Only the latter. 20.11 Are PEU's the only strength points used to figure victory conditions at the end of the scenarios? A) No, all units eliminated at the end of the scenario count. 20.12 By "in supply" do you mean within 14 hexes of a wagon at the time; enter the hex; or just not marked out of supply. A) The latter (otherwise it pulls the baggage counter off to the map edges for no valid reason).
