FEUDAL (Avalon Hill, 1976) QUESTIONS

Avalon Hill reply to 11/91 letter:

Q: Near the middle of page 2, it is stated that Archers may not shoot over
   Castles.  May they shoot *into* Castles?

A: No.

Q: Just below that, it is stated that a man must always stop on the Castle
   Green when entering or leaving the Castle, or even when just crossing the
   Green:  a. Does this apply to your own (or teammate's) man on your own
   (or teammate's) Green?  b. Can a Squire "jump" over (not onto) a Castle
   Green when crossing it without stopping?  If not, can he start to move
   over it and be stopped on it, or is he forbidden to move over it at all?

A: a. Yes.  b. No - forbidden to move _over_ it at all.

Q: On page 2, in the next to last paragraph, if the captain designates order
   of army movement, may he later change or abolish it?

A: No.

Q: On page 4, in the next to last paragraph, it is stated that an invading
   piece which is on restricted terrain after removal of the Castle must be
   moved one space.  If there is no legal place to move (due to being
   surrounded be restricted and/or occupied spaces), is the piece destroyed?

A: Yes.
