FIELDS OF GLORY Errata(as of 8/21/96) SUGGESTION: Save the "trees" the counters come in; you'll need them for Country of Origin identification after you've separated the counters. Especially for the small German States. COUNTERS: The French "1/Bfflrs 5-5" unit should be "2/Bfflrs", available only at "O" (not "M") One of the French foot "1/Brtgne" should be "2/Brtgne" The Prussian "GrdCorps" Horse unit with the "M" designation (not the one with the "MO") should be the "Katte" regiment. Sorry. The Dutch Mercenary Foot "Elvervelt" unit is from Munster (as per the OoB0, not Wolffenbuttel. Note, also that the Erbrinz Wolfenbuttel (Dutch Merc) indicator is the wrong color. The Dutch Mercnary Dragoon units, Brockdorf and Hess-Homburg, and the French 2/Lvgn and Isenghein Foot are all present at both Oudenarde and Malplauet, and the counters should say "MO". The Hanover Dragoon (mounted) should have a strength of '4'. That weird looking gray counter in the French mix is nothing; ignore it. You are not missing a counter. RULES: (8.32) CLARIFICATION. Subsection [3] is incorrect when saying a unit may not Withdraw adjacent to an enemy unit; 8.34 is correct. (11.4) CLARIFICATION. This section's reference to Footusing the Reaction table is correct; 11.47 is incorrect concerning this. SCENARIOS: Malplaquet: French set-up. The 2/Charost unit should go in 2919, not 3019. Malplaquet: Allied Cavalry. The reference to the Dutch Mercenary Dragoon unit, from Saxony as "Berksdorf", should be "Brockdorf". ----- Also, he later posted a change in response to a question about lines with both infantry and cavalry (i.e., Biron at Oudenarde and Withers at Malplaquet. Richard stated that if such a line is activated, it may NOT attack the same enemy units with both infantry and cavalry. Each unit type must go after different units. His reasoning was that to allow them to combine would give them a greater capacity for combine arms tactics than was historically possible.
