From: Markus Stumptner Subject: More Glory Q&A Some more answers from Richard Berg on Glory... 1. If a charging unit is disordered by defensive fire, does it still carry through the charge? Strictly read, the rules say no (a disordered unit cannot charge), but apparently the intent is yes (meaning the rules should read "a disordered unit cannot announce a charge"). -- Yes 2. Does a unit that is fired on by two others that are simultaneously activated and gets two "rout" results rout, or is it eliminated? I judge that since a routing unit "flees immediately", the second fire has no effect (but should still be resolved, to check for the ability to advance). In other words, what is the meaning of "immediately"? -- Eliminated . . . "immediately" means, after all units have fired against it. 3. Can a unit change facing when it rallies? (Rallying precludes movement, but somewhere in the artillery rules changing facing is explicitly stated as not being movement.) -- Yes 4. Do units have to check commitment if they enter a hex in an enemy ZOC already occupied by a friendly unit? (Apparently yes.) -- Yes Last 3 games played: Rommel in the Desert, The Legend Begins DL, Matanikau -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Basakaro! Basakaro!"
