From: Arius V Kaufmann Subject: worst maps 3W's Light Division has a map with, not only a startling number of errors along the lines of, "These hexes should by grey" in the errata, but in addition, one of the errata states that the map key printed on the map is wrong. Here's the actual errata: The city hexes did not turn out the proper shade on the map. They are all located on the south-center portion of the map. Hexes 3823, 3824, 3723, 3724, 3624, 3626, 3426, 3427, 3326, 3226, 3227, 3125, 3126, 3127, 3026, 3027, 2926, 2927, 2827, 2828, 2727, 2728, 2628, 2629, are city hexes. The map terrain key colors don't match up properly with those on the actual map. So, as a check, 4303 is mountain, 4204 is peak, 4506 is rough, 4608 is broken. 2829 and 2729 should be clear hexes. Hexes 3121, 3122, and 3222 are mountain hexes, not broken hexes. The radio tower hex is worth two vp's. The port of Bandar Abbas (2629) VP hex does not have the "PT" symbol in its hex. This hex is indeed a port. The Bandar Abbas airfield (3924) VP hex does not have the "AF" symbol in its hex. This hex is indeed an airfield. The map is missing the US reinforcement display. This display should be divided into two boxes: Airlift and Sealift. The map is missing the US commando display. This display should be divided into two boxes: Long-Range missions and tactical missions. In some instances, tiny bits of terrain color have bled into adjacent hexes. This can be confusing when determining the major terrain type of these hexes. The rules say that even if a hex has any amount of priority terrain, that hex is considered that type of terrain. However, because of some bleeding, this is not true in some cases. For example, hexes 2023, 2123, 2223, and 2322 are mountain hexes, not peak hexes. Back to me-- Whew. We have a winner of the "Game that should not have been printed" award for most obscenely unplayable errata. Arius Kaufmann
