TS Wilde - Aug 5, 2005 3:17 am (#544 Total: 557) Whatever. Algeria Qs Q: what are the evasion/contact ratings for static units in 'Algeria'? [they only have a single rating of 2, for firepower, which i've also used for the time being as a contact/evasion rating (seems about right so far).] Q2: does the FLN player take extra APs for the first turn of the game, based on the areas he controls or contests at the start? (control is only determined later in the turn, so is it meant be determined as well in the 1st turn's reinforcement phase?) I searched but couldn't find a folder or any previous posts on this thread for these Qs, apologies if they have been asked before. I hope Brian Train or someone else can answer them ASAP as i'm in the mniddle of a game! Burroughs Hi Tom, how's it going - what corner of the world are you in now? Q1: Yes, the single number on a static unit counter is the Contact (for police) or Evasion (for fronts) rating. Q2: In the first turn of the game, all areas are considered Contested until the Control/Depreciation Segment in the Turn Interphase. Most of the Q+A on Algeria has previously appeared in the Microgame Design Group discussion area. I suppose a separate area should be set up for it when it is re-published later this year by Fiery Dragon Productions.
