From: Allan Rothberg Subject: [consim-l] Re: Avalanche John, Yup, found a little that I had in the game. Here it is, verbatim: Errata and Clarifications for AVALANCHE July 20, 1976 Map: Naval units may be placed in the full sea hexes off-shore of Castlemare in compliance with the rules for placement of Naval units, even though no dotted or dashed lines appear on that part of the map. Two small areas of the southern map did not hae brown printed on them. The white are on the north-west edge of the map which includes part of hex 4101 should be part of the 1000- 1399 meter elevation area. The white area on he south-east edge directly east of the Strade Statali 18 and including part of hex 1135 should be part of the 600-999 meter elevation area. Counters: Two German Artillerie Batterien of the 16 Artillerie Regt do not bear the regimental designation 16, but should. Both are of the third Abteilung. One is a 1-6 with a range of 6; the other is a 2-5 with a range of 8. The wheels have been left off of the three Kompanien of the 3 Pionier Bataillon (sic). Not withstanding this, all German Pionier Kompanien are wheel mobile, as indicated on the German Unit Identification Chart. The two British Monitors are in U.S. Navy colors. All German 1-5 weapons Kompanien in Luftwaffe colors are Fallshirmjager weapons Kompanien. The gull wing symbol was left off. Allan ps Frank, I was thinking about making a Cyberboard set for this game. Do you have any objections if I make it available for public use? I will, of course, give full credit to the original sources. This wouldn't likely happen any time soon. JOHN LOY wrote: > Thanks, I emailed Frank Chadwick.
