BAR-LEV ERRATA AND CLARIFICATIONS Rule 2: Game Components: Section 4, Charts, should be amended to read: A. Israeli Armed Forces Chart B. Terrain Effects Chart Rule 10: Amphibious Units: The second sentence of the rule should read, "Amphibious units ignore the Jordan River for movement purposes, pay two movement points to cross lake hex-sides, and treat swamp and Suez Canal hexes as clear terrain." Rule 12: Combat: In the Restatement section of the rule, line 13, delete the words "or neutralized". The next sentence should read, "All units which did not make first fires and were not eliminated by first fires may fire in the simultaneous fire subphase; even if such units are eliminated in the simultaneous fire subphase, they may make their own attacks because losses from the simultaneous fire subphase are not applied until the end of the phase." Add the following sentence to the rule: "If, as a result of direct fire, all of the defending units in a hex are eliminated, the attacking player may advance any or all units which fired, up to the limits of stacking, into the vacated hex. Only Arab units may advance after firing in the Arab player turn; only Israeli units may do so during the Israeli player turn." Rule 15: Refitting Units: Add the following: "Each nation refits seperately, including Arab Allies. Thus, Jordanian units may only be scrapped to refit other Jordanian units." Rule 19: Morale/Exhaustion: The last sentence of the second paragraph should read "...morale collapse, nor do other Arab Allies." Rule 20: Arab Command Control: Paragraph 5, second sentence should read, "Such units have no ZOC, but may move through Israeli units or be moved through by Israeli units." Rule 21: Syrian Exploitation: Add the following: "During this additional movement phase, the Syrian player receives four (4) additional Operations Points. These may only be used to release reserves (which may then exploit). Headquarters may not move during exploitation. Syrian units may use road movement during exploitation on roads east of the antitank ditch and its extension to the Lebanese border. Rule 33: The One Front Game: The heading of section 2 of this rule should read Aircraft Allocation. Air Rule 4: Aircraft Allocation Phase: In the second to the last paragraph, the reference to the Mirage IV should read Mystere IV. Air Rule 7: Air Related Combat: The first sentence of the fourth paragraph should read, "Air defense artillery units with a range greater than zero may subtract 2 from the die roll when firing at aircraft in the same hex as the unit."
