From Moves#72 LA LAWLESS (MOVES #75) Errata & Clarifications MAP Unplayable Areas: Santa Monica Mountains, San Gabriel Mountains, Puente Hills, Baldwin Hills. Remember that Freeways can still be used to pass through Unplayable Areas (see Full Simulation, rule 14.6). COUNTERS Mounting suggestion: Obtain an 81/2 x 11 inch adhesive mailing label sheet from an office supply store. Color photocopy the counter page onto this sheet. Then cut out each counter image, remove the backing, and afix to any spare or blank counter. RULES 2. GAME MAP & CHARTS (addition) - Each side has an Exposure Index to record its current number of Exposure Points. The Exposure Point total affects the outcome of Events, and is used to determine who wins the game. 3. GAME PIECES The letter codes for the units pictured on p.47-48 are – Authority PD Police Patrol Company TAC Police Tactical Company MP Military Police Battalion CBT Combat Infantry Battalion HELI Helicopter VIG Vigilante CR Community Relations Rioter AGIT Agitator MOB Mob GANG Gang Looted Markers: Twenty markers have been included in the counter set printed on page 57. Use 'ruins" markers from other games if you prefer. 5. EVENTS - A single roll of a 20-sided die can be used to generate Events, if desired. 8. CONFLICT - Despite the different typeface, this is a major rules section, not part of the preceding "Movement" section. 13.2 A HELI does not have to stop when it enters an area containing a Rioter unit. It may stop in any area, including an unplayable area (although there is little reason for it to do so, except to protect it from Rioter use of the Firepower combat table per Full Simulation rule 16.2). SITUATION VARIANTS Law Enforcement Assistance Force - Despite the different typeface, this is a separate variant, and is not part of the preceding "Middle Class Joins In" variant. CHARTS Conflict Resolution Tables- 1. When performing Counterattack (CA), the new attacker may only select from the resolution tables that the participating units are allowed to use. See the Conflict Type chart (p.48) to determine this. 2. "Retreat" is not a result listed on the tables. Follow the instructions under Retreat whenever an Arrest/Withdrawal (AIW) result occurs. Event Chart- 1. The numbers in the shaded columns are treated as "Event numbers" when using slips of paper or 3 six-sided dice. 2. Rioter events 18, 19, & 20: If no AGIT unit currently in play, no MOB unit is received.
