Strange as it seem going back to this old but classic and great game, there are a few questions that ARISE: 1. Special GT 8: There is a shift of 4 cols. for all Soviet "attacks." Does this also apply to Soviet overruns on GT 8 or just in the combat phase? [ Applies to all attacks including overruns] 2. Armor ....attacking into clear terrain [ unfortified] receives 1 col. shift. Does this apply if the clear terrain is across a river hexside? [Yes] 3. Overrun: I presume that a previously retreated unit does NOT contribute to defense of a later attack on the hex where it comes to rest. [ it does not ] If it is displaced onto another defender as result of overrun do BOTH the displaced and underlying unit defend against subsequent overruns? [Yes] 4. Disengagement: Can you remove ALL of the original units in an EZOC hex by inserting a new unit before removing the final unit from the original stack?...or must at least one of the ORIGINAL defenders remain in the hex? [??? my guess No,an original is not required because these are 6 day GTs and the restriction would be an obstacle to the already difficult German offensive, but others disagree with me] 5. "Leningrad" hexes: For VP purposes are only 2604 and 2705. Are these same 2 hexes used to calculate the location of Forts or can you also count from the other 2 city hexes south of the Neva River for purposes of Fort placement? For purposes of Fort placement are there 4 Leningrad hexes or 2? [???? All hexes]
