Dennis L. Bishop - 03:48pm Feb 26, 2003 PST (#71 of 84) I have been playing Sacrifice in the East for the past few days. After several false starts, (I am not the world's best rules reader), I think that I have it down. It looks like part of Battle for Germany (SPI), but it is not much like it. I kept trying to play Battle for Germany, and kept finding out I was not playing Sacrifice correctly. I have a question: Under VIII. Replacements, the rules state "each side will take as a replacement the weakest unit that has been previously destroyed in combat." Does this include German "M" units? If it does, that means that possibly 6 units could be stacked in Berlin for free with the "V" unit (6-13-2)and three combat units for a very considerable Berlin garrison. I am of the impression that once the "M" and "V" units are destroyed by combat, they are permenantly removed from the game. Enjoying the game very much with only this question so far.
