John Banks - 09:45pm Sep 13, 2001 PST (#115 of 116) In Panzers Along the Terek, (1)rocket artillery has a range of only one hex. Weapons units (including rocket artillery), may never enter an enemy zone of control (per 1.3.2). Is the intent to limit rocket artillery to (essentially) defensive use? (2) Rule 1.7.5 refers to "indirect/direct fire". Perhaps I've gone rules-blind, but I can't find a description of "direct fire" in the rules. What/where is this? (3) Deployment: is rule 1.7.5 limited to weapons units (artillery/rocket/anti-aircraft)? In which case, the last line of 1.7.5 becomes " all units must deploy before they can engage in indirect/direct(?) fire". alan moore - 07:48am Sep 14, 2001 PST (#116 of 116) John, 1. Rocket artillery have a range of 2 hexes, not 1. weapon units adjacent to enemy units may only engage those units. 2. Direct fire is for all units other than artillery, rocket, and AA. Perry
