These OP's become available the turn AFTER they are sent. To construct a base you only need to have control of the hex, not keep a land unit sitting on it. For a quicker game, just assign Operations Points to each area as a common pool as opposed to assigning to catagories. 8.0 MOVEMENT -------------------------------------------- Air unit transfer is 3 x Range + 1 hex. (This allows the historical shuttle flights of bombers from the West Coast to the southeast pacific theater) 9.0 SEARCH --------------------------------------------- Once any units in a stack are sighted, the entire stack may be attacked. But the decision of whether to attack is based upon which ships are actually spotted/revealed. 10.0 COMBAT -------------------------------------------- The Port/Airfiled hex in the Philipines (Manilla Bay) has an intrinsic strength of 4.
