Hi, I worked out these scenarios for Perryville, Champion Hill and Drewry's
Bluff. While Perryville has been playtested several times at my game club and
in my classroom the other two have not been playtested as much, so it is my
hope that I will get feedback.

Since I don't have any means to show you a visual map I am going to tell you
where things go. I'm going to use the method developed by Dennis Snow for
setup. The top row is numbered 101, 102, 103, ..., 113, the second row is 201,
202, ..., 212, ect. If a space is not covered here it is clear terrain. Here
goes...

BATTLE OF PERRYVILLE, KENTUCKY - October 8, 1862

SETUP

The Chaplin River/Doctor's Creek runs through 301, 401, 402, 303, 203, 304,
404, 405, 406(Bridge), 507, 607, 708, 808, 909. On hex 203 the river should
also trail into hex 103; you'll need to improvise. There is also a small
section of the Chaplin River in hex 107.

STAFFING NOTES

Union Player: Don Carlos Buell, 3 command cards
Confederate Player: Braxton Bragg, 4 command cards (move first)

Special Rules: Each space of Perryville is worth (1) flag to the Union if
occupied by them.

The Perryville scenario does not count in U.S. Corps commander Crittenden's
forces, who didn't move in the battle until it was nearly over, nor C.S.A.
Cavalry commander Wheeler's forces, who kept Crittenden in check. I'll leave
it to you to search for an overview of the battle.

STAFFING NOTES

Union Player: Ulysses S. Grant, 4 command cards (move first)
Confederate Player: John C. Pemberton, 3 command cards

Special Rules:
Champion Hill is worth one flag towards victory determination during each
player's turn to whichever side is the sole occupant of the range of hill
hexes. If there is more than one side then no "points" are awarded.

Reinforcements are recieved by both sides in the fight as follows:
Union turn 1 - 2x UINF at hexes 110, 111 or 112
Union turn 3 - UINF, UGEN (McClernand) at hex 102 or 103; UINF at hex 601 or
701
Confederate turn 4 - CINF at hex 907 or 908

Baker's Creek may only be crossed at the bridge at 907. Any units forced to
retreat across it take one additional hit instead.

The railroad is built on an embankment. Therefore, any units defending there
are considered to be in prone position on the reverse side. Deduct one die
when firing at them.
