For your enjoyment: 4 VERY quick scenarios: good for teaching op concepts of the game. September 27, 1918: Allied Grand Offensive Play in Sept, Oct, Nov/Dec turns in 1918 (skip strat turn R) Use West map north of 40xx line. Randomly choose units. Allies: (set up in Flanders) 8 BR, 1 BR HQ, 6 BR Cav. 8 BE, 1 BE HQ CP: (Flanders) 12 GE, 1 HQ Allies (Cambrai to St. Quentin) 40 BR, 3 US, 1 RTC, 1 HQ CP: 57 GE (18 of those are stormtrooper), 1 HQ, 4 Hind. CP victory: avoid Allied vict. We used another house rule: Allied rolled one die per turn and received a drm for that number of combats to simulate uneven CP morale. 9/12/18 Reduce the St. Mihiel salient Play same as above. Use only quarter of the West map w/ Verdun & St. Mihiel. Allies: 9 US, 1 US HQ, 2 FR CP: 9 GE (6 low combat factor to represent 2nd line units), 1 HQ Front line: 5218, 5219, 5220, 5221, 5222, 5322, 5323, 5224, 5123, 5023, 4922, 4823, 4824, 4825, 2925, border to end. Setup First 7 US div in 4825, 2 FR and 2 US in 5023, 4922, 4823 Place CP units in salient. Special rule: units can only attack in salient hexes. Rest of Front line is assumed to be static or you can fill in w/ FR and CP units. I used this short game to teach my opponent the game. Victory: Allied Overwhelming: elim. salient.
