Burnside Bridge 1862 Part 1

"...this part of the battle is all about desperate and repeated Union assaults to get over the bridge...". Norm Smith, in his Battlefields & Warriors blog, begins a board game to miniatures experiment, starting with Worthington Publishing's Antietam September 17, 1862. Norm is playing out the Burnside Bridge scenario with the boardgame, with an eye out for some action that will translate well to his miniatures table. Looks like he has lots of raw material as "…repeated Union assaults over the next few hours fail as they come up against Toombs on the heights…"!
