Description:


"The Battle for Germany is a corps/army level simulation of the final campaign between Germany, the Western Allies, and Soviet forces between 15 December, 1944 and May, 1945." (Taken from the introduction paragraph in the rules manual.) Originally published by SPI in 1975 in their Strategy & Tactics magazine, issue # 50. That same year SPI also released the game as a folio edition and as a boxed edition. Decision Games published a boxed edition in 1994 and a deluxe edition in 2020. Other publishers were Hobby Japan (Japanese language edition) in 1985, Command Japan magazine edition (also in Japanese) in 2011, and Kilovolt Design (Chinese language edition) in 2022.
